Currently (October 4): In the middle of the South China Sea, a low pressure area located at 9:30 p.m. at about 13.5-14.5 degrees north latitude; 116.5 - 117.5 east longitude.
At 1:00 am this morning, the central location of the low pressure area is about 13.5-14.5 North latitude; 115.5 - 116.5 longitude longitude.
At 7 o'clock on October 5, the central location of the low-pressure area was about 13.5-14.5 degrees north latitude; 115.0 - 116.0 east longitude.
At 19:00 on October 5, the center of the low pressure area was about 13.3-14.3 North latitude; 114.5-115.5 degrees East longitude, about 300km from West Song Tu Island to the Northeast.
At 1 o'clock on October 6, the central location of the low pressure area was about 13.0-14.0 North latitude; 114.2-115.2 degrees East longitude, about 300km from the West Song Tu Island to the North.
At 13:00 on October 6, the center of the low pressure area was about 11.5-12.5 North latitude; 112.5-113.5 degrees East longitude, about 160km from West Song Tu Island to the Northwest.
At 19:00 on October 6, the center of the low pressure area was about 11.2-12.2 North latitude; 112.0-113.0 degrees East Kinh, about 400km east of the coast of the provinces from Phu Yen to Khanh Hoa.
At 1 o'clock on October 7, the central location of the low pressure area is about 11.2-12.2 degrees North latitude; 111.0-112.0 degree East Kinh, about 250km east of the coast of the provinces from Phu Yen to Khanh Hoa.
At 7 o'clock on October 7, the central location of the low pressure area is about 11.3-12.3 north latitude; 110.5-111.5 degrees East Kinh, about 170km east of the coast of the provinces from Phu Yen to Khanh Hoa.
This afternoon, the low pressure area has entered mainland provinces of the South Central Coast. It is forecasted that in the next 24 hours the low pressure area will continue to move mainly to the West, about 15-20km per hour.
Due to the influence of the tropical convergence combined with the cold air, the offshore waters of the provinces from Nghe An to Quang Ngai have strong showers and thunderstorms; in a thunderstorm, there is a possibility of tornado and gust of wind level 7. The sea wave is 2.0-3.0 m high in the Northern Gulf of Tonkin; 2.0-4.0m in the South Gulf of Tonkin.
Due to the influence of cold air, in the Gulf of Tonkin and the coastal area off the Central Coast, there is strong Northeast wind level 6, level 8, rough sea; The North East Sea (including the waters of the Paracel archipelago) has strong Northeast winds of 6-7, level 9, and strong seas.
