I. TROPICAL DEPRESSION EVOLUTION
- On October 22, there was a tropical depression in the sea east of Taiwan (China). At 4 p.m., the center of the tropical depression was at about 22.7 degrees North latitude; 123.3 degrees East longitude. The strongest wind near the center of the tropical depression was level 7 (50-61 km/h), gusting to level 9. Moving southwest at a speed of 20-25 km/h.
- At noon on October 23, the tropical depression entered the sea east of the North East Sea. At 1 p.m., the center of the tropical depression was at about 19.0 degrees North latitude; 119.7 degrees East longitude. The strongest wind near the center of the tropical depression was level 6 (39-49 km/h), gusting to level 8. Moving southwest at a speed of about 25 km/h.
- On the night of October 23, the tropical depression weakened into a low pressure area in the eastern sea of the North East Sea. At 01:00 on October 24, the center of the low pressure area was at about 17.4 degrees North latitude; 117.5 degrees East longitude. The strongest wind in the center of the low pressure area decreased to below level 6 (below 39km/h).
