10:19:25, 29/05/2026 On May 14, 2026, the final round of the "Ringing the Golden Bell" competition titled "Together with Children to Prevent and Combat Natural Disasters - Building a Sustainable Future" took place at Bac Kan Secondary School, Bac Kan Ward, Thai Nguyen Province.

Sence of competition.

The competition aims to disseminate knowledge about disaster prevention and control, thereby raising awareness and response skills, focusing on children and teenagers in schools regarding disaster prevention and control; to create a beneficial and healthy playground, strengthen solidarity, and promote the learning of knowledge and skills about disaster prevention and control among students; and to generate interest from all levels of government and schools in disaster prevention and control.

The scope of the competition and the participants are students (from grades 6 to 8) from three schools: Bac Kan Secondary School, Huyen Tung Secondary School, and Duc Xuan Secondary School. It is organized by the Department of Dike Management and Disaster Prevention and Control in coordination with Acecook Vietnam Joint Stock Company and several related units of Lao Cai province.
