I. EVOLUTION OF TRPICAL DEPRESSION
- On the afternoon of September 24, the low pressure area in the southeast sea of the Hoang Sa archipelago strengthened into a tropical depression.
- At 1:00 p.m. on September 24, the location of the tropical depression's center was at about 15.1 degrees North latitude; 112.8 degrees East Longitude, about 200km southeast of Hoang Sa archipelago.
- On the morning of September 26, the tropical depression weakened into a low pressure area in southern Laos.
- At 07:00 on September 26, the center of the low pressure area was at about 16.3-17.3 degrees North latitude; 105.9-106.9 degrees East Longitude. The strongest wind in the center of the low pressure area decreased to below level 6 (below 39km/h).
- It is forecasted that in the next 12 hours, the low pressure area will move mainly in the West-Northwest direction, about 15km per hour, and the intensity will continue to weaken.
