On the morning of August 28, Mr. Nguyen Duc Trung - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee - Chairman of Nghe An Provincial People's Committee came to the scene of the fire in Dien Loi commune to direct fire fighting and encourage the forces to strain under the extreme heat of the sun to save the forest.
By 10 am on June 28, forest fires were under control. However, hundreds of hectares of forests in Dien Chau and Yen Thanh districts were burnt down.
Currently, the weather in Nghe An and Ha Tinh provinces is hot and fierce, which makes the risk of forest fires and points of forest fires likely to flare up again.
