Water poured into Dong Xoai city, Binh Phuoc, causing some low-lying areas to be deeply flooded. The local government had to relocate dozens of households to ensure safety.
On September 24, the water was reduced, but some low-lying places in Dong Xoai city, Binh Phuoc province were still deeply flooded.

Mr. Vu Van Muoi - Deputy Chairman of Dong Xoai City People's Committee, Binh Phuoc province, said that by the morning of September 24, the water had been withdrawn, people were moved to a safe place. Currently, the units are still monitoring to ensure the safety of people in flooded areas.

Before that, on the afternoon of September 23, big floods suddenly poured into the area of Rac stream (bridge two) in the areas of Tan Dong, Tan Thien, Tan Xuan wards - Dong Xoai city. By 4:00 pm the same day, many areas were deep in water from 0.5 to 1.7 m. There are 137 houses affected, some places flooded up to 1.5 m.

Immediately after having information about the water rising rapidly from the source of the Ray stream, the People's Committee of Dong Xoai city and other units deployed to the scene of rescue, overcoming, and proactively supporting the people to build up the map used before the water is up. By the evening of September 23, the functional forces had moved 53 households with nearly 100 people to a safe place before the water rose. Currently, the city authorities are continuing to follow the flood protection plan
