According to Reuters / THX, the European-Mediterranean Seismic Center (EMSC) and the US Geological Survey (USGS) announced that, at 11:45 am (GMT, 18h 45 minutes Hanoi time) On April 16, an earthquake of magnitude 5.9 shook the border areas of Myanmar and India.
According to EMSC, the earthquake's epicenter is located at a depth of 10km, 35km southeast of Myanmar, 169 km southeast of Aizawl, India.
