Hanoi rains heavily in many places, candidates need to be careful

11:26:36, 08/07/2022 This morning (July 8), Hanoi continued to have showers and thunderstorms in some urban districts.

According to the National Hydro-meteorological Center, monitoring on satellite cloud images, lightning positioning and weather radar images shows that convective clouds are existing, developing, causing showers and sometimes thunderstorms over the area. Ba Vi, Soc Son, Dong Anh districts and Long Bien, Tay Ho, Ba Dinh and Dong Da districts of Hanoi city.

In the next 1-3 hours, these convective clouds will continue to exist, develop, cause showers and sometimes thunderstorms and other urban districts of Hanoi. During thunderstorms, there is a possibility of tornadoes, lightning, hail and strong winds.

In the North, there are showers and thunderstorms, with heavy to very heavy rain locally with a rainfall of 30-50mm, in some places over 80mm. In the area from Quang Tri to Binh Thuan, the Central Highlands and the South in the evening and tonight (July 8), there will be showers and thunderstorms, with heavy to very heavy rain locally with a rainfall of 20-50mm, in some places on 80mm.



Warning, thunderstorms in the North will last until July 9. From July 9-13, the area from Quang Tri to Binh Thuan, the Central Highlands and the South continued to have showers and thunderstorms, with heavy to very heavy rain locally.

During thunderstorms, there is a possibility of tornadoes, lightning, hail and strong winds. There is a high risk of flash floods and landslides in the northern mountainous provinces and flooding in low-lying areas.

This morning, the whole city had 97,953 candidates registered for the combined and English exam. Candidates should take advantage of going early when the weather has not rained and bring a raincoat, to avoid getting caught in the rain will affect their health and the exam process.
