Mobilizing 500 people to extinguish 2 forest fires in Sapa

Specifically, according to information from the Sa Pa Town Forest Protection Department, the first fire occurred on the afternoon of April 18, in an area of 3 hectares in plot 7, sub-zone 260, Sa Xeng village, Ta Phin commune. The current status of this area is a regenerating forest with no reserve and the ability to recover.
Then, on the evening of April 18, the second fire occurred in an area of 17.9 hectares, belonging to lots 23, 25, 26, 28, 29, plots 8, 9, Sub-zone 262, Chu Lin 1 village, Trung Chai commune. . The current status of this area is a regenerating forest with a protective function, mainly acacia and medicinal plants.
Immediately after receiving information about a fire, Sa Pa town deployed the "4 on-the-spot" option to fight forest fires.
At the first fire point (Sa Xeng hamlet, Ta Phin commune), the locality mobilized 157 people to participate in the fire fighting, until 23:00 on April 18, the fire point was basically extinguished.

At the second fire point (Chu Lin 1 village, Trung Chai commune), it is more difficult to access the fire point and fight the fire due to the dark, complicated terrain (the burning area has many cliffs, high mountains), there is no road. Go, big wind. In order to quickly handle the fire, Sa Pa town has mobilized 350 people to participate in fire fighting and ensure logistics for the direct fire force. By 11 a.m. on April 19, the fire was completely extinguished.
However, due to the dry and windy weather, the People's Committee of Sa Pa town continued to direct the rangers and the forest protection shock group in Trung Chai commune to be present at the scene to guard and create a runway to prevent fire. to prevent the fire from re-igniting.
