Overview of the Central Party Cell Congress for the term 2020-2022

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Phuong - Secretary of the Party Cell, Director of the Center said that this is an extensive political activity among officials and Party members towards the Party Committee of VNDMA and the 13th National Party Congress.

The Congress conducted discussion, contributed opinions and approved political reports of the Party cell, evaluated the results of implementing the Resolution of the Party Cell Congress for the term of 2017-2020 and directions and goals for the 2020 -2022 term., a review report on leadership and direction of the Party cell for the term 2017-2020. The reports clearly highlight the achieved results, advantages, limitations, causes and lessons learned, based on which the directions, tasks and solutions for implementation of the Cell in the 2020 -2022. term are set out.

In the report on Party building work for the 2017-2020 term of the Party cell, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Phuong - Deputy Party Cell Secretary said that the Central Party Committee currently has 21 party members, including 12 male and 9 female, the percentage of female party members reached 42.9%. Education with 17 masters, 04 bachelors. Regarding the level of political reasoning: High-level political theory has 02 party members, 02 party members are studying high-level political theory, Intermediate level political theory: 03 comrades; primary political theory: 14 comrades, most of the party members hold key positions or undertake central tasks of the Center, have a high sense of responsibility for the job, have good capacity , ethical, exemplary lifestyle.

The Meeting voted to approve the Reports of the Executive Board for the term 2017-2020

Under the leadership and direction of VNDMA’s Party Committee, the Party Committee and the entire Party Cell have made efforts to lead and direct the implementation of the comprehensive results of the tasks of the Party Cell and the whole unit. Speaking at the Congress, Mr. Pham Hong Quang - Member of the Party Executive Committee of VNDMA highly appreciated the leadership and direction of the Central Party Committee achieved in the 2017-2020 term and noted achievements of the Party cell collective have contributed to the overall achievement of the Party Committee of VNDMA; At the same time, in the 2020-2022 term, the Party Central Committee should continue to stick to the main political tasks, take measures to overcome the limitations, focus on leadership, and direct the good performance of professional tasks in order to further improve the quality and efficiency in carrying out the tasks of the Party cell. In addition, the Party cell should continue to improve the reports to submit to the upper Party Committee after the Conference.

At the congress, members of the Party cell elected the Party committee of the Disaster Prevention Policy and Technology Center for the 2020-2022 term, including 03 comrades: Mr. Nguyen Thanh Phuong - Director The center is trusted to hold the Party Cell Secretary; Mr. Nguyen Phuong Nam - Deputy Director held the position of Deputy Secretary of Party cell and Mr. Nguyen Thanh Kien - Head of Disaster Prevention and Dyke Technology Department held the position of member.

At the end of the Congress, all Cellar Party members unanimously approved the Resolution and determined to complete and effectively implement the political tasks set out by the Resolution of the First Party Congress in the term 2020 - 2022./.
