Mr. Tran Quang Hoai - General Director – Vietnam Disaster Management Authority gave an opening speech at the training course

The objective of the course is to equip and update necessary knowledge on state management in the field of natural disaster prevention, climate change, investment in construction of natural disaster prevention works and practical work skills ; guide students in the steps of implementing investment consultancy on a project to build a disaster prevention construction .

Speaking at the training class, General Director Tran Quang Hoai asked officials, civil servants and employees participating in professional training to fully implement the program, content, study plan and class rules. Students attending the class will take the entrance assessment test and the final test after the training to assess the quality of students and courses.

This knowledge-based training course initially implemented a number of training programs of Vietnam Disaster Management Authority. With a total of 96 theoretical and practical lessons (including: State management knowledge in the field of disaster prevention; Knowledge about the design of disaster prevention  works; basic skills; practical research), this training course is essential to enhance the knowledge and experience for civil servants, officials and employees in the units under the General Department.
