According to the forecast of the National Center for Hydro-meteorological Forecasting, from now until August 8, in the mountainous and midland areas of the North, there will continue to be moderate rain, heavy rain, in some places very heavy rain with heavy rainfall. common 50-120mm, some places over 180mm.
In the context of continuous rain in the past few days, the land is in a state of water saturation, there is a very high risk of continuing to occur local floods on small rivers and streams, flash floods, landslides, rocks, flooding in low-lying areas. , short.
In order to ensure life safety and limit damage to property of the people and the state, the Prime Minister requested agencies, units and local authorities not to be negligent, subjective, or lose sight. awareness, focus on leading, directing, and proactively implementing flood response work according to the motto "four on the spot", quickly overcoming the consequences of rain and floods.

Along with that, the Prime Minister requested localities to organize the review, relocation and evacuation of people and properties out of dangerous areas, especially areas at risk of landslides, rocks and flash floods. . Organize forces to strictly control people and vehicles through spillways, deep flooded areas, fast-flowing water, areas with landslides or at risk of landslides, not allowing people and vehicles to pass through without proper protection. ensure safety.
The Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment organizes forecasting and warning of floods, landslides and flash floods, providing adequate and timely forecasting and warning information to functional agencies in accordance with regulations to serve timely and effective direction and response.
The Ministry of Transport shall direct and guide traffic organization and traffic safety in areas affected by rain and flood, promptly remedy incidents, ensure smooth traffic, especially on the main traffic axes.
The Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development and the Ministry of Industry and Trade are assigned, according to their state management functions, to coordinate with localities in directing the work of ensuring the safety of dams, especially small hydroelectric reservoirs and critical irrigation reservoirs; protect agricultural and industrial production; quickly fix the electrical system in service of production and daily life.
