From about August 6-7, a low pressure trough passing through the Middle East Sea area is formed, the southwest monsoon becomes stronger.
Between August 7-8, a low pressure area is likely to form in the Mid-Eastern Sea area, causing showers and thunderstorms.
The sea area from Binh Thuan to Ca Mau, the Middle and South East Sea (including Truong Sa archipelago) has strong southwesterly winds of level 5, then increased to level 6, level 7-8; sea waves from 2.0-4.0m high.
It is forecasted that around August 8-9, the above low pressure area is likely to develop into a tropical depression with a probability of 70-80%.
