The goal of the training course is that after the training class, students can:
- Understand and explain a number of concepts and terms related to natural disasters and climate change;
- Understand the content of the local safe, clean and green community model (Basis; vision and elements, principles, stakeholders implementing the model, pillars of the model);
- Understand the 05 pillars and implementation activities;
- Understand the content and draw a sketch of the commune's natural disaster risk map;
- Develop an Action Plan to implement the model.
With capacity, professional qualifications, practical experience in community-based disaster risk management, climate change adaptation and many years of experience in teaching and imparting knowledge at courses. During the training session, the main lecturer from the Center for Disaster Prevention Policy and Techniques successfully conducted the training course, achieving the set goals and meeting the expectations of the students.
With 09 content sessions taking place over 05 days, the training course combined theoretical and practical presentations. Most of the trainees seriously participated in the training, actively and proactively carrying out activities according to the instructions of the trainer.
During group activities, students actively participate in discussions, ask questions and present group discussion results. In addition, students also actively share knowledge and practical experiences from their localities. Students' suggestions after the training course were that they wished to regularly participate in similar training classes.

To continue to effectively deploy the model in many other localities, after the training course, instructors at the Center for Natural Disaster Prevention Policy and Techniques will continue to review the training content and adjust the language. Regarding recommendations from the students, the students suggested the need to continue to organize more training courses on natural disaster prevention to improve knowledge and ability to apply locally and proposed to organize more training courses on natural disaster prevention.
