In the context of increasingly severe and abnormal natural disasters, the application of science and technology in the field of natural disaster prevention and control is being paid attention by agencies and units of natural disaster prevention and control, especially equipment like UAV and Drones which helps monitor, supervise, direct and respond to disaster response, dikes quickly and effectively. However, in order to ensure the safety of using Flycam, capable of handling incidents when emergencies occur, each person needs to master basic knowledge, basic professional skills and practical experience.
In order to strengthen the Center's capacity in support and technical consultancy on natural disaster prevention, Disaster Prevention Policy and Technology Center has established a Flycam / Drones flight technical team with 10 DMPTC’s officials. Mr. Ngo Huu Huy - Specialist of Department of Technology Application and Data Management - led the team and organized a training course for the technical group for 3 days from September 19, 2019 to September 21 / 2019.

The technical group was introduced to basic knowledge about common drone equipment, especially equipment that Vietnam Disaster Manangement Authority is using, advantages and disadvantages of each type of equipment as well as knowledge about safety in flying drones. In addition, the group practiced on a flight simulator model, instructed on the procedures of flycam disassembling, practical flight in the field and product handling skills after each flight.
